What happens when an old Brueninghaus Hydromatik pump arrives at CAMI Group?
Brueninghaus and Hydromatik were originally two separate brands, both specialising in the design and manufacture of axial piston pumps and motors. They joined the Rexroth Group separately during the 1970s and were subsequently brought together within Brueninghaus Hydromatik GmbH. Since the establishment of Bosch Rexroth in 2001, their technological heritage has become part of the current Bosch Rexroth portfolio.
Many pumps and motors bearing the nameplates of these historic brands are still operating reliably today, although they may require maintenance and overhaul work.
As a Bosch Rexroth Certified Excellence Service Partner, CAMI Group also provides support for previous generations of Brueninghaus, Hydromatik, Brueninghaus Hydromatik and Mannesmann Rexroth pumps and motors. Each unit is assessed to determine whether it can be restored and whether the necessary spare parts are available.
This was the case with a Brueninghaus Hydromatik A4VSO 250 axial piston pump sent to the CAMI Service department for repair. The unit was completely disassembled, inspected and overhauled before being reassembled and tested.
The overhaul restored the pump’s performance and reliability, extended its operating life and allowed it to return to service.
