Bosch Rexroth overcenter valves are employed to control the stop and the motion of the actuator in both directions by performing the following functions:
– Load lowering control: the load does not become a driving force, as the valve prevents any cavitation of the actuator.
– Limitation of the maximum pressure in case of shocks due to loads, overloads, or abrupt manoeuvres.
