In many high-production industrial plants, maintaining the correct hydraulic fluid cleanliness level is essential to ensure operational continuity<\/strong>, component reliability, and reduced maintenance costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a major application in the steel industry, CAMI was tasked with developing a dedicated microfiltration system for an existing hydraulic power unit, with the aim of improving fluid quality and protecting the most sensitive components of the circuit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Solution Developed by CAMI<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solution consists of a standalone microfiltration unit installed on a dedicated steel skid, designed to operate continuously and independently from the main hydraulic power unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unit is equipped with a SEIM three-screw pump<\/strong> driven by a high-efficiency 5.5 kW electric motor<\/strong>, a configuration particularly suited to ensuring constant flow, low pulsation levels, and long-term reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the system is a HYDAC in-line filter with a filtration rating of 5 microns,<\/strong> specifically sized to effectively remove contaminating particles from the oil and help maintain optimal fluid conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrated Monitoring and Diagnostics<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure continuous monitoring of system performance, the unit incorporates dedicated devices for supervising operating conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The differential clogging indicator provides real-time information on the condition of the filter element, while the electronic pressure switch with a 4\u201320 mA analog output enables integration with plant monitoring and maintenance systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The electrical control panel, designed and manufactured by CAMI<\/strong>, includes start-stop functions, emergency stop, power-on indication, and alarm management associated with operating conditions and filter status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
